Last week Year Four had the amazing opportunity of exploring more deeply the Indigenous culture as part of our History unit. During the incursion each student was able to contribute to a discussion of what contributes to world-wide cultures to make each unique while also thinking about common threads between every human culture.
Students were captivated when they were transported to indigenous land through the use of virtual reality goggles. They got to see tribal dances, see art, hear a dreamtime story and explore their own skills of hunting and gathering.
