This week we talk to Term 2 newcomer, Mr Harris, and find out how he came to be at Mueller…
What brought you to Mueller?
I was doing relief teaching at Mueller in Term 1. I had planned to study at a bible school in Austria and travel around Europe this year. When COVID hit those plans changed and I was offered a contract at the end of Term 1.
What is your current role?
I am currently teaching English, Maths and Humanities in Year 7 and Science in Year 9.
What are you most passionate about in teaching/your role?
Making Learning experiences purposeful and enjoyable.
What was your very first job?
I worked as a PE Teacher at Northside Christian College.
Coffee of choice?
Short double shot cappuccino.
