As part of the Year 10 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation, students learnt about the importance of our health and safety at school and in the workplace. Students completed a Senior First Aid course in order to extend and apply their knowledge of First Aid in their community.
This was invaluable for our students and will help prepare them for their future employment and real-life problems. It has also enabled them to assist anyone who becomes injured in the event of an accident or emergency; the more First Aid certified people there are in a community the safer that community becomes.
