Survival Camp is the pointy end of the Yr11 Outdoor Rec program. As the culmination of units like Canoeing, Lifesaving, Lightweight Camping, Teamwork & Leadership, students usually undertake a 5 day expedition with their only supplies being what is carried on their backs. This year, due to COVID, it was only a 2day camp. But students and teachers were super grateful to get out!

The cohort was treated to the beautiful sunny weather of the north but were tested in tenacity and problem solving as they were forced to face strong winds travelling across Lake Cootharaba. Survival Camp has a rich history at Mueller. It is well known for its growth through challenges and this year was no different as students grew individually and together.
