Last week the Presentation Day awards acknowledged the hard work of our Year 7-11 students. Merit, Distinction and Subject Awards were presented to those who had excelled within the various subject areas, and the Academic Excellence Awards recognised those students who had consistently achieved a high standard across all of their subjects.

The morning also saw several special awards given to honour cultural, leadership and service contributions, together with several community-sponsored awards.

Without parents attending, classmates enthusiastically rose to the challenge of filling the gap to encourage and celebrate each other during the ceremony. After a year that has held significant challenges, it was tremendous to see students’ progress recognised.
