Rehearsals for the Primary musical ‘The Lion King’ have been well under way for over a term. Over 100 students have been gathering each week to run through lines, song lyrics and stage blocking as they prepare to perform in shows at the end of the year.
The cast includes students as young as Year 1, giving a fantastic opportunity for all ages to learn the in’s and out’s of a musical production. Our Secondary students counted the family-like community of the cast and crew as their number one highlight of ‘Aladdin’, and their younger counterparts will likely find the same connection with their peers as they share their gifts and talents.
The cast are now proudly wearing their new ‘Lion King’ t-shirts which will no doubt generate excitement around campus over the coming months.
