The Cross Country race is always a wonderful display of determination, perseverance, and friendship, and 2022 was no different. Our Year 3-6 students gave it everything last week as they pushed toward the finish line and cheered each other on!
Some of the Senior Secondaries came along to help students navigate through the course, and our Middle School captains were there to raise team spirits. There were war-cries at the start, parents yelling encouragement along the length of the course, and iceblocks at the end to cool down.
Age group winners were awarded their ribbons in Assembly on Monday and the victorious house was announced with 495 points – second place had 493 points! It was a close call pointing to the fact that every participant matters. Everybody give three cheers to STRADBROKE who got their name on the trophy this year!
