There are a group of young designers on the rise in the Year 10 Fashion class and this week they got to showcase their latest work.

As part of an assessment that tasked them with exploring natural fibres in hot climates, the students had to design a collection suitable for a Queensland summer and then bring one of those designs to life. The task aimed to hone their design, sewing and sketching skills.

Their displays showed the breadth of the creative vision in the room and some fortunate Year 7’s got to come along and vote on which they thought was the best by placing a button in a jar. Now, some of the displays have moved to the Arts Cube windows for everyone to see. Stop by and take a look at the magnificent work of the Year 10 Fashion students.
