The Arts Festival is a highly anticipated event each year as our students gather to showcase their skill and creativity in the Arts. With so many hours put into rehearsing, creating and preparing, the passion behind the presentations is most evident at the event.
Year 9 brought a wonderful interpretation of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to the audience in the Arts Cube with a colourful and enthusiastic performance. Next door, paintings, drawings, large-scale installations, pottery and all sorts of wonderful Visual Art creations were on display in the gallery.
MPAC housed the musical events with bands, duo’s, and solo performances taking place on several levels. The dance showcase took us to the stage and the team wowed with their physicality and obvious joy. The night concluded with the Miffy’s – the Mueller Film Awards where the culmination of script-writing, direction, editing and acting finally comes together in finished projects that the audience got to enjoy. Well done to those recognised for their creative efforts!
