In Art this year, our creative, talented Year Fours explored the concept of ‘Abstraction’ by creating progressively simplified patterns first observed in nature, and considered the similarities and differences noticed in artworks created by several Aboriginal and European Artists. Then they exercised some excellent abstract pattern design and brush control when translating them into these very lovely “Nature Pattern” paintings.
These artworks are now part of the Hudsons experience, being printed on the order buzzers. Have a look next time you’re grabbing a coffee!
