Year 2 took their Design & Technology class to the oval this week after designing their own kite. Their creative energies were let loose to decorate the creation, and the groups of two could choose which shape to use in their construction.
Then it was all put to the test on a lovely breezy morning when they attempted to make their handiwork take flight. There were some disappointments and on-site repairs from Mr Bryant, and some wild triumphs as students zoomed up and down the grass with their kites flailing behind them.
