The Year 6 worship band stepped up to lead Chapel for the very first time last week. For some, it was the first time they’d played their instrument in a band! They have been practising for weeks and earnestly led their peers to focus on Jesus as they sang ‘Waymaker’ together.
Secondary worship teams recently took over the Primary chapels for a fully student led morning. Our worship band prefect interviewed some of the team to talk about what the early years of school were like for them, and how their faith has changed and grown since Primary school. Primary prefect, Liliana, spoke, encouraging the young listeners that they are a wonderful creation of God.
It has been powerful to see our teams using their gifting to honour Jesus and serve their peers.
