Science teacher, Mrs Shapland, invited students to join her to take part in a UQ soil study. The study aims to collect and analyze organisms in soil samples from around Brisbane, in order to determine how to create new antibiotics to combat superbugs.
The samples were collected last week and will be sent to UQ, with data from each collection point submitted through an app. The students should be delivered the results with images of our soil in the future. Stay tuned!
