Just when Secondary parents thought they had said goodbye to Book Week, the celebration was revived this year for students to participate in. The English Department heralded the call for those who wanted to get involved, and plenty of students took up the challenge to dress up as their favourite literary character.

There were prizes for individual and group contestants, and lollies for all who made the effort. Students dressed up in the breaks and paraded their costumes through College Square. The crayons made quite a splash with their colourful group costume, and 7 dinosaurs roaming the campus together was quite the sight! There were tributes to Anne of Green Gables, Twilight, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, as well as some childhood favourites in Fancy Nancy, Thelma the Unicorn and the Lorax. Plenty of staff got in on the action too with Mary Poppins, Madeline, TinTin, and Pippi Longstocking making an appearance.

Well done to all who got involved!
