Streaming through the gates, bags bursting with new books, pencils and laptops, students began the day with a smile. College Square resembled the arrivals hall at the airport as secondaries squeezed their friends after the long holiday hiatus. In the staggering 37 degree heat, Primaries headed straight into their cool classrooms to meet their new teachers and get organised at their desks. We warmly welcomed new students and classes were given mini tours throughout the day to help everybody get orientated.
