A hearty congratulations to Year 11 student Tahlia, who was recently awarded a QATSIF scholarship (Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation) to support her throughout her senior studies. The scholarship requires students to achieve academically, engage in activities that enhance their cultural identity, and participate wholeheartedly in the life of the school community with a mind to being a role model for others.
Tahlia says she intends to make the most of the scholarship by diving into her most loved subject of chemistry. She has her eyes on a career in the medical field and will continue to work towards her goal.
