This week we visited the Year 4-6 Choir, taking a peek into their lunchtime practice. The choir allows the students to develop their vocal skills in a group environment. Just like playing an instrument, it is beneficial for singers to learn to sing in tune, sing in harmony, practice different styles and blend vocally. The goal is that this will not only benefit them individually as singers but also build a strong music program at Mueller.
The choir will have several opportunities to perform this year at smaller events as well as working towards bigger performances at ‘A Night with the Mueller Musicians’ and the Mueller Arts Festival. Make sure you come and check them out!
