It’s been an exciting week of learning experiences for students studying Certificate III in Events. On Wednesday, the students visited the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for a backstage tour of what was voted the best convention centre in the whole world! The success of BCEC is largely due to their ability to perform well within the events industry. Students were able to glean from industry professionals as they shared their experiences from a professional perspective. BCEC Human Relations manager also helped to prepare students when applying for further employment within the industry sector.
On Sunday, Events students ticketed to a sold-out event of 10,000 attendees at the Moreton Kids Festival. It was an amazing day greeting and welcoming guests as they arrived for an action-packed day out. There were smiles all around and lots of fun to be had. Congratulations Year 12 Events on a successful ticketed community event.
