Primaries scrambled to say hello to AFLW legends Dakota Davidson and Lily Postlethwaite when they visited Mueller last week. The pair of Brisbane Lions players brought their hard-won 2023 Premiership Cup with them, and students got to have a photo with the impressive trophy. They lined up for autographs, with the more unprepared resorting to getting leaves signed!
One lucky class had Dakota & Lily join their PE lesson. After a Q&A, the pair ran the class through some ball skills drills and gave them some practical footy tips. The visit was designed to inspire students to consider getting involved in AFL, and Primaries certainly caught the buzz.
