Year 2 went on an adventure to mark the end of Term 2, trekking to the Secondary MUROC room and getting a tour of Mr Banks’ fancy aerodynamic gadgets. They got to sit in the big kids’ seats and find out what studying aviation might be like for them in a few year’s time. The Year 2’s got up close to the student-built aircraft before heading outside for a demonstration of the remote control planes. The loops and twists of the planes in the air were met with excited oooh’s and aaaah’s from the curious audience, and no doubt, interest was peaked for a career in aviation in more than a few students.
