Year 1 students took a trip back in time with a visit to the Caboolture Historical Village last week as part of their History Unit. The little learners were investigating how technology and innovation have changed our lifestyle, transport, communication, and industry, and the excursion gave them a prime opportunity to compare historical ways to how they live in 2024.

Highlights of the day included an action-packed train ride that saw them encounter their first bush rangers! The cohort also got particularly excited about sieving for gems, hoping to find a shiny surprise, and the free time to explore the post office, police station, dairy, stocks and other exhibits at the end of the day was a hit.
