10 students took part in Parklands Christian College’s first Interschool Rubik’s Cube competition last week. Students competed in 3×3, 2×2 and pyraminx events.
Nerves took hold a bit at first as it was many of our students’ first time competing in a cubing competition. However, everyone had 5 chances to solve their cube, and our students showed amazing efforts as they got used to the competition and solved cubes in less than 40 seconds!
Everyone went home with ribbons based on their average solve times so they could remember their PBs. Ezekial McKenzie went home with the bronze medal for his 3×3 solves with an average solve time of 15.81 seconds!
