Year 1 took a trek to the aerospace classroom last week to hear Mr Banks talk to them about the history of aviation. They toured the exciting space looking at the drones, aeroplane seats, and endless gadgets, not to mention the near-finished Savannah aeroplane in the middle of it all.
Next, they headed to the oval for a flight demonstration with many ‘ooo’s’ and ‘aaahh’s’ as the remote-controlled aircraft circled the oval in front of them.
