Primaries celebrated Multicultural Day at school this week, coming in outfits that represented a country of significance to them. The colourful display allowed students to wonder, be curious, ask questions and connect as they learned more about their classmates.

Assembly brought everyone together for a fun parade and an exciting taste of Columbian culture as visiting dancers showed off some traditional dances and got students on their feet for a street-style salsa! Students learned different greetings from around the world and listened to some of their peers pray the Lord’s Prayer in Korean, Afrikaans and Chinese. Year 5 led the students to pray ‘around the world’, Prep performed a Fijian welcome song, and Year 6 had a multicultural lunch with traditional dishes brought in by students.
