Introducing Year 6 student, Will Bird, as ‘Kristoff’, and Year 4 student, Jack Coleman, as ‘Sven’! These two will play the endearing pair of mates in the upcoming Primary production of ‘Frozen JR.‘ and we had a chat to them about their experience so far.
Have you done musicals before?
Jack: No, this is my first one.
Will: I did Madagascar (in 2023)
What is your favourite element of the performance?
Will: My favourite part would be the acting, but the singing is pretty fun as well.
Jack: Definitely the acting
What is your favourite thing about being part of the musical?
Will: I like seeing it all happen and having fun times with the funny parts.
Jack: Meeting new friends and doing it all with friends.
Why should people come to see it?
Jack: We’ve done it for a long time, and if nobody comes, it will have been for nothing! And it’s really funny!
Will: It’s really good, we’ve worked on it really hard, and we’ve got great actors.
Who are you most excited to have come and watch you perform?
Jack: My parents
Will: My family
What are you most excited for in the actual performance?
Will: I’m going to be excited and nervous because this is my first time doing a big role.
Jack: I’ll be excited because I get to do the fun stuff, and nervous because everybody is watching.
