The Mueller Volleyball Academy are gearing up for a big season ahead, beginning their preparation with an academy camp. The teams came together on Friday afternoon and went straight into some practice games against Deception Bay State High teams. After dinner together, they were off home for a good sleep before a 6:30am start for training back at the Lacey.
Saturday saw them working on attacking opposition court, defending against opposition attack, movement and game play for most of the morning. Then they took a break for some team-building, sprinting around campus to find clues in the ‘Amazing Race’. They finished the camp playing hard in mixed teams in a tournament, giving them a chance to practice their new skills and play with new teammates.
