There are many students at Mueller with high potential, so this year all students have the opportunity to participate in the world-renowned ICAS assessments. The International Competitions and Assessment of Schools (ICAS) is an independent, skills-based assessment program for talented students.
ICAS is suitable for high-ability students who benefit from academic extension and demonstrate a willingness to take up the personal challenge of competing in an international assessment. If they participate, your child will be presented with intellectually stretching questions which will challenge their higher order thinking and problem-solving skills.
Dates and Cost
You can elect for your child to sit any of the following assessments and pay through the ICAS portal. The tests will be sat largely outside of school hours, causing minimal disruption to classwork
ICAS is open this year to any students who want to participate (see below year levels that can participate), parents just need to pay and register via this link before Friday 18th of July, 2025:
