Faith Rose
Faith recently competed in the Senior Gymnastics State Championships for Level 7 Under 13s. After the first day of competition, Faith was awarded the silver medal all-around for her division in QLD. After competing for a second day, they awarded individual apparatus achievements and Faith was awarded State champion on bars, silver medallist on floor and bronze medallist on beam.
After receiving one of the highest combined scores in QLD for her division, she was selected to be part of the QLD team at the upcoming border challenge in July. She is very excited to wear maroon! Go Faith!
Teagan O’Friel
Teagan O’Friel of Year 9 recently made the trip over to Perth at the start of the last school holidays to compete in U15 girls Pole Vault at the 2025 Australia Athletics National Championships. Keeping up her National Achievement level from the National All Schools Athletics Champs in December last year, she once again brought home the Silver for Queensland, matching her vaulting PB of 2.60m. She was the only athlete on the day to jump a clean card up until her exit height, which was the difference between a Silver and Bronze medal.
