Following on the day after the Mueller Fete, Certificate III Events students made an enthusiastic effort to assist at the Jetty to Jetty fun run last weekend. They arrived at 5 am, ready to provide competitors with their race bibs and apparel. The positive culture of serving within the community that is part of the Mueller ethos came to the fore as students provided customer service through smiles and quick responses to competitors’ needs. Being ready to serve through volunteering before dawn is no small thing.
The event provided an opportunity for both learning outcomes and for students to use their gifts and skills to serve our local community.
