Introducing Year 6 student, Eden Portillo, as ‘Elsa’! Eden takes on the role of the complicated and powerful would-be Queen with her enchanting powers and the big number we will all be waiting to sing along with.
We had a chat with her about her experience in the musical so far.
Have you done musicals before?
Eden: Yes! I was a lemur in Madagascar. (2023 Primary production)
What have you been doing to prepare for your role?
Eden: I’ve been practising with my singing teacher and practising at home.
What is your favourite thing about being part of the musical?
Eden: I think the community. The rest of the cast is really nice and fun.
Why should people come to see it?
Eden: You’ll get to see an amazing show put together by a bunch of cool Primary students.
Who are you most excited to have come and watch you perform?
Eden: Probably my mum because she’s a really good singer and she’s really musical.
What are you most excited about in the actual performance?
Eden: Doing ‘Let it Go’. It’s cool that I get to be the sister with the powers.
