55 students from Years 9-12 finished off Term 2 with a tour to Bundaberg. The team had a huge schedule, presenting 10 separate Gospel presentations to over 1000 students over 6 days.
They travelled to Agnes Water to visit Discovery Christian College, and then to Bundy to visit Bundaberg Christian College, continuing connections they’ve made through Mueller Worship Conference over the last couple of years. The ongoing relationship between the schools has seen friendships flourish between students as they see each other throughout the year. The team opened the doors to 100 local students in Bundaberg for a youth rally and hopes to extend the invitation further next year.
The prayer is always that God is glorified, and the students continue to sacrifice time, talent, and pride to bring their very best in service of Jesus. Many team members shared their testimony throughout the events, others led worship through voice and instrument, some contributed to production, and all of them prayed.
On the way home, the team had a night at Splitters Farm for some R&R and time together, debriefing as a team. Many goats, chickens and horses enjoyed their pats!
