The Mueller Basketball Academy held its annual Academy Awards Night earlier this term to celebrate the 2025 BOSL Basketball Season.
It was a great night of community in College Square, themed around honouring the values of the Academy and the demanding nature of the game of Basketball.
Academy coordinator Mr Pittman opened the night by speaking about the values of the Academy and the importance of sacrifice as it applies to the game and to life. From there, many student-athletes were presented with awards, including: Most Improved, Lockdown D, Hustle, Heart, and MVP. Students who successfully made a district, regional, and/or state basketball team were recognised, followed by acknowledgement of the athletes in the Academy who represented a BQ association in junior and/or senior representative seasons.
The night was concluded by announcing our major award winners and by the Academy Captains thanking the outstanding work of coaches across the long season.
