The Mueller Basketball Academy Open Girls and Boys CBSQ Tournament recently wrapped up. What an incredible 5 days of basketball and community!
The Open Girls finished their first tournament in the Championship Division (D1) with a 2-5 record after securing a hard-fought win in their final game. With that, the Girls are now officially ranked as the 11th best team in Queensland. An amazing achievement by a squad of amazing young women!
The Open Boys finished their campaign with a 4-3 record and secured their place in the tournament next year. The boys did well to push closer to the goal of being a top-20 team and are hungry to continue climbing the state rankings. Well done, boys!
The players concluded the tournament with a great lunch, the presentation of the annual paper plate awards, and a couple of short speeches by Head Coaches Mr Jesse Pittman (girls) and Mr Steve Watts (boys).
