Our dancers pirouetted, lept, and kicked their heart out in their performances at the Dance Showcase last week. The showcase is the pinnacle of their performance year as they get to bring their hard work to the stage for friends and family with a full production.
The show saw our Primary Dance Troupe reprise their Frozen JR number as well as bring the high octane fun of ‘Yes, Yes I Can’. The Secondary Dance Troupe brought a moving contemporary piece and the classic jazz tap moves to ‘Singin’ in the Rain’. Our Secondary curriculum dancers brought powerful solo’s, duets and group numbers, showcasing their evolving skills.
After the performances, several students were awarded trophies for their contribution to the dance team culture and their exceptionally hard work throughout the year. It was a fantastic event that celebrated our students and the art of dance.
