Term 3 was a busy time for some Year 6 & 7 students who took on an extension project to channel their curious and creative minds into something very practical. The students sourced plans online and learned how to use a 3D printer to create some fun objects. Working for a couple of hours each week throughout the term, the group printed 500 items, making everything from unique jibbitz to maze games and tiny toys.
This week, they set up a stall to sell their wares and raise funds for the Nepal mission trips. The stall was a huge hit, helping them raise $805 so far. They will be selling their remaining items on Thursday morning before school, at the bottom of K-block. (Cash Only) Head down to pick up one of their fun toys before they sell out!
