With one final, yet short, term to go, staff across campus are soaking up these last few weeks with their classes. So much has happened – so many memories made, skills learned, and moments where we’ve seen both great people and our great God at work. 2025 will definitely be a year we talk about for a long time.
This week, our Preppies head off to swimming lessons. Yes, the bus ride will probably be the main event in their minds, but we’re also keen to build their confidence in the water, between excited chatter and goggles put on upside down. As if that wasn’t enough excitement, families have also packed bike helmets so students can ride balance bikes and learn road safety in PE. There’s nothing quite like taking a school tour with new families and casually passing a convoy of tiny cyclists proudly making their way through campus with their PE teacher and Teacher Aide in hot pursuit.
We also celebrated Multicultural Day in true Mueller fashion – colourful, joyful, and slightly chaotic in the best possible way. Truly, Prep parents, if there was a medal for remembering swimming gear, bike helmets, multicultural outfits, AND still getting to school on time… you’ve earned it.
As the term continues, students will begin rehearsing for their Prep graduation. If you’ve witnessed this event before, you’ll know it’s a heartwarming morning – watching our youngest learners step on stage with pride, knowing just how far they’ve come in their very first year of school.
As we treasure these final weeks, we want to thank you, parents and caregivers, for being such steady teammates. Every packed bag, Parent Lounge permission given, and “have a great day” pep talk makes a difference. We see it, and we are grateful. Just like the Word says in Galatians 6:9, ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.’
