Congratulations to our graduating students from the Secret Agent Society (SAS) program for Term 3, 2025. This year marked another successful implementation of the program at Mueller College, with students learning and developing many new and important life skills.
The SAS program, an award-winning, evidence-based initiative for 8-12 year olds developed by Dr Renae Beaumont, offers further support for student wellbeing. Using an online platform, students engage in group sessions and at-home learning, undertaking missions to practise important social and emotional skills. The program integrates parents and teachers to reinforce these skills across different environments. The aim is to enhance self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and social management. It helps cadets to decode feelings and actions, build friendships, cope with change, solve social-emotional problems, and handle bullying.
It has been a joy to witness the students discover a new sense of confidence as they applied the tools learned in our weekly meetings. We are tremendously proud of this year’s graduating cadets and grateful for the support provided by their parents and teachers. We hope these skills continue to serve you well.
