Year 1 went on an adventure to mark the end of Term 4, trekking to the Secondary MUROC room and getting a tour of Mr Banks’ fancy aerodynamic gadgets. The Year 1’s got up close to the student-built aircraft project before heading outside for a demonstration of the remote control planes. The loops and twists of the planes in the air were met with excited ooohs and aaaahs from the curious audience, and no doubt, interest was piqued for a career in aviation in more than a few students.
