The Year 10 Legal Studies students visited the District and Supreme courts in Brisbane last week. They were able to witness live cases in the court, observing trials and sentences being handed down, and identifying personnel in the courtroom as they did so.
They then participated in a workshop that helped them understand how the court operates. The day at the court aimed to invigorate students’ passion for justice and their dreams of being future barristers, solicitors, associates, and police officers!
