Year 8 Science took a fun turn last week with students fashioning their very own slingshots. The task was to investigate how varying the distance that they stretched their slingshot (rubber band) would effect the flight distance of their object (pom pom). The MPAC foyer was full of flying pom-poms as they trialled different measurements and played out the experiment.
