The whole school gathered for Easter megaChapel last term, giving time for students to reflect on the extraordinary sacrifice of Jesus through the lens of Mary’s journey. From a young girl waiting for prophecy to come to pass, to an obedient teenager, a young mother, to eventually understanding she needed Jesus as her own Saviour.
We were left with the powerful envisioning of a risen Jesus amongst us and the words of an old hymn resounding as we went out into the Easter holidays…
‘I need Thee, O I need Thee;
ev’ry hour I need Thee;
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.’
