Last term, Year 10 Recreational Sport students ventured to the Sunshine Coast for camp. Over two days, the students hiked around 25km, enjoying the scenery of Mapleton, and stopping for a dip at Kondalilla and Baxter Falls.
The trek wasn’t without its challenges, namely, a good amount of leeches to contend with, and crafting their own shelters out of tarps and rope in the rain. They cooked their camp meals on trangias, carried heavy packs and made it home with some stories to tell!
