Our Preps, Year 1 and 2 students finished off Early Years Week with Grandparents Day. There was much excitement as the visitors arrived and were welcomed into the classroom. Some classes performed a song, some worked on activities, and others shared their latest work.
There are plenty of grandparents who have to send their love from afar, so some substitute grandies step in to have some fun. Mrs Clarke’s mum and dad joined her students to scoop up some ‘adopted’ grandkids for the day, and we even saw some grandparents facetiming into the celebrations so they didn’t miss a moment!
The students then led their grandparents to a special Chapel where Mrs Grady encouraged them all that ‘God keeps His promises ALWAYS’.
