The Year 11 boys set off on a challenging camp last week, seeing them reach the heights of Mt NgunNgun and the lengths of Lake Cootharaba! The boys had awesome weather, and once settled in their tent camp, were able to dragon boat for the first time in years – apparently breaking the CYC Camps record for time across Lake Cootharaba.
The campers also had archery tag, giant stand-up paddleboards and canoes through the Everglades. Teachers said they were encouraged to see the boys working together not only to complete challenges and activities, but also to cook, wash up, and clean the facilities for each other.
