Year 10 student, Jonathan Verster, a member of the Queensland Climbing Team, took his skills to the national stage over the May 16 weekend. Competing at Nationals in Ballina in the under-16 and under-17 age divisions in the Lead Climbing event, he faced off against the country’s best, representing the maroon colours with grit and precision on the wall.
