Years 11 and 12 had an intensive incursion this week with RACQ educators who came to teach students about the importance of road safety. The session used a dramatically re-enacted scenario to walk students through various aspects of road safety, highlighting the small decisions that can cause large consequences.
The session also used interactive ‘clickers’ for students to answer multiple-choice questions before discussing the real-time results. From drug and alcohol consumption to seatbelt use, speeding to driver distraction, the students will inevitably face many of these choices themselves as they begin their journey behind the wheel. With the comprehensive information they received in this session, they will hopefully navigate the decisions ahead with wisdom and confidence.
