Students were ready to go when the High School Girls Night announced this year’s dress-up theme would be ‘dressed for the wrong occasion’. There were wedding dresses, farmers, some visitors from the plastic surgeon’s office, some ready for the beach and even a couple who got lost on the way to the maternity ward! When everyone was gathered, the girls seized the moment to walk their costumes down the catwalk for all to appreciate.
Amongst the costume shenanigans was a feast of pizza and ice cream, an epic game of ‘Just Dance’, and craft activities that allowed the girls to mix and mingle. The night was topped off with an inspiring talk from school captain, Ella Watson, who encouraged the students to step out with what they believe to put their faith into action. It was a fantastic night of fun and connection for our Secondary girls.
