The end of the year is still a long way off however we wanted to share a date claimer with you for the 2026 Mueller College Presentation Night. It will be held on Thursday the 22nd of October (Week Three, Term Four), commencing at 6:30pm.
The night includes awards across all areas of the school including academics, sport, leadership, arts and service. It will also feature performances, speeches, and the introduction of 2027 Secondary School student leaders.
We have made a change to the Cultural and Service awards this year. They will now be service awards and there will be separate awards for the Arts. Students will have the chance to self-nominate for the service awards in a link sent out this week.
Our heart is to honour students, however not everyone can get an award. We know that for many of the students winning these awards is both a goal and motivation for them to work hard. Hence, a published framework for our decisions is important. The detail of the criteria, for the Mueller Academic Medal, AMPOL Allrounder, Academic Excellence, Subject awards and Dux of Middle School and Dux of School are attached. Please Note: AMPOL have removed Academic achievement as a criterion since 2023.
The Mueller College Dux and Year Twelve subject awards will be given out at Mega Chapel on the first day of the 2027 school year. These awards can only be given out once all External Assessment has been marked and the results communicated to us.
