The fun continued in Business last week with the Year 10 Practical Business students heading off to Aussie World on Friday to learn about workplace health and safety in the tourism industry.
Students were given a presentation by Mr Scott Williams, the park’s Workplace Health and Safety Compliance Coordinator, and then spent the rest of the day exploring Aussie World and testing out the rides. They even got a sneak peek at some new thrill rides that are opening very soon and can’t wait to go back to try them out.
On the way out at the end of a fun-filled day, students stocked up on fairy floss and show bags from the park’s gift shop. It was a fantastic day out and a brilliant way to celebrate being halfway through the term. Oh, and the students learned a lot about workplace health and safety too!
