Three of our very own Mueller teachers were amongst 23 Queensland independent school educators awarded with the nationally recognized Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers (HALT) certification at the close of 2021. Brienna Bullock, Namali Holwerda, and Jessica Templeton attended a ceremony at Customs House in December to receive recognition of their achievement.
The HALT certification is gained after teachers go through an extensive process of evaluation by trained assessors together with peer, and student, reviews. The Independent Schools Queensland Chief Officer, Chris Mountford, noted ‘These HALTs are influencers in the classroom and staffroom. They bring energy, passion, and exceptional practice to their schools every day, which benefits their students and colleagues’.
